Cheerleaders -- I'm reminding you that spirit week is NOT optional for you. So you better be decked out in your pajamas tomorrow! Oh, and guys, as your student council president I need to remind you that dress codes still apply - you can't show up naked and say "this is how I sleep". You'll get expelled and blah blah blah.

Homecoming is coming up SOON. October 6th-10th is Spirit Week, October 10th is the Parade & Game, and October 11th is the Homecoming dance. If anyone is interested in helping on any Homecoming related committee, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP.
Cheerleaders, we're going to practice 30-45 minutes longer EACH DAY, from now until Homecoming. It has to be PERFECT. I MEAN IT. Think of Homecoming as a trial run for the Sparkle Classics.
Oh and sign ups for the powder puff football game, the pep rally games, etc will be posted next week.

Have you ever paid attention to the Basketball Team's "Boy Toy Auction" that we do annually? Any of you football jocks interested in participating in a dating action? One date. All proceeds go to the athletic teams and a charity of the team's choice. Think it over!

If anyone hasn't signed the card for him I've been passing around the school - and would like to - see me tomorrow ASAP. I'm going to stop by the hospital after cheer practice tomorrow.... I mean, it's not much but.. it's something?
Guys, if you were in the hospital, would you think it was incredibly lame to get flowers? I mean, I know it's kind of a girl thing - flowers and all - but it's not like I can get him a teddy bear. I just think we should do something to show him we're all worried and thinking about him, you know??

ATTENTION CHEERLEADERS AND HOPEFUL CHEERLEADERS
Tryouts for the Varsity Squad begin TODAY, directly after school. As school policy goes, everyone wishing to be a part of the varsity squad - even returning members- must participate in the tryouts though past varsity cheerleaders are guaranteed their spot We have a few positions to replace from seniors who graduated last year, so nows the chance to prove that you've got what it takes!
Freshmen, you're encouraged to try out as well, just keep in mind that very rarely do freshmen make the varsity squad, but it can happen! Don't worry, if you don't make varsity, there's still the JV squad! :) Don't let that fear stand in your way of at least giving it a chance.
Wear your gym uniform - or for those not currently in gym, comfortable work out clothes - and tennis shoes. If you've choreographed your own dance, bring the music you need and we will allow you a chance to show off your moves. Through out the week you will learn one of our dances and one of our cheers, and be expected to perform both of Friday. Returning members of the squad will be there to help facilitate the tryouts, and teach the candidates the moves. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

Okay, seriously?? I just return to Forks for the first time in three months and I have a brand new computer waiting for me. How WICKED is that? And all they want us to do is write in these journal things? A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I can already tell my senior year is going to be GREAT.
I'm all settled into the apartment with Haley now. It's totally cute! I've just got to convince her that we need to have a house warming party to make it all official. SPEAKING OF PARTIES...
There will be a party at the beach Monday night, complete with a D.J. and a bonfire. If you aren't there it's because you suck! No, really, you do!
